Ignoring, for now, the fact that we basically invaded and occupied this website ourselves, someone stole the name "Mach Entertainment" and copyrighted it in 2013.

So, does this mean we have to change the name now? Because I actually have a few suggestions:
Sparce Entertainment
Not Mach Entertainment
Geek^3
Mach Zero Entertainment
Unforgotten Quest ('cause we all know nobody's ever using that name)

Having the same name wouldn't breach copyright law, as far as I'm aware, especially since our Mach Entertainment is pretty evidently distinct from that guy's.

We've been aware of this other Mach Entertainment for a while now, there's also a few other entities using the name that I can't be arsed to link to. All of these were using the name after we first used the name though, which was sometime in late 2011 and we do have proof of our using of the name back then, and from what I remember of trademark law, since we were using the name over a year before they were, if a dispute were to come up, I'm sure we'd have a good chance of winning that. This is going of my horrible memory of copyright law though.

As a side note, we were actually going to file for an LLC for Mach Entertainment which would also involve trade marking the name iirc, and from what I remember there was no other company that had actually legally been using that name at the time, which I think was in 2014 or 2015, but we backed out because Alex didn't want to pay the fee to do so at the time.

Also that other Mach Entertainment is also based in Florida. Knowing that I've always been suspicious that that was started by someone we knew, trying to steal the name and one up us just to be a dick. I'm probably just overly paranoid though.

From what I know about copyright law that sounds about right, but I also know that copyright laws need to be updated to keep up with the insane amount of possibilities people have access to with the internet now.
