Figured it would be rude to assume we're all of one mind here. Feel free to add commentary to your vote as desired. This poll is just me being curious, not looking to base anything substantial off of it.

I do, personally, though I hit that strongly agree when I probably meant more of a "Yeah, it'd be nice". Having new faces around (as well as seeing more familiar ones, like we have been likely) seems like a hell of a lot of fun.

Edit: changed my vote, seems brity gud.

Call me cynical, but it won't happen and the attempts to make it happen will just make people sad and discouraged when they don't work. I am perfectly content with the rate at which we grow now, usually just by someone on the forum bringing a friend on every now and again.

I'm in the yea it would be nice category but I would hate for this place to get huge. Since that would likely happen due to someone getting a large community from their streaming. I would hate to be a vassal state to the great TC empire.

I come here to joke and catch up with people I've known online for years. I'm not opposed to new people joining or anything, but at the same time I don't really care enough to actively seek it out.

I'm glad I got to see you fucking up putting the quote in your signature on the spot.

I don't like Vance's rationale. If you wanna create content that you think might draw people in, be my guest; we can't expect the growth and it's stupid to, but that doesn't mean it's not worth caring about or that it wouldn't be fun to meet new people. I'm not gonna go around trying to recruit all kinds of people to come here, though if a friend would be interested I'd certainly try to get them involved. I do think it's more important to make sure, y'know, the people already here are having a good time here.

I'm of the mind that u want us to do more of what we're already doing and if we happen to gather more new members because of that, fantastic. I don't want this to become my career or job, but I wouldn't mind personally making videos, reviews, articles, streams, etc. If people show up from us making a more concerted effort towards that happening then awesome! If this community remains as it is now, that's also fine. I'm not really pushing for anything in particular, besides us being more active and creating more stuff instead of being inactive and trying to not make stuff.

Also, Shadow asked me this yesterday, saying we tried in the past and failed, why should we try again? I would say the main difference is that back then we were trying to make a video game despite none of us having really any sort of experience, as well as having no goal, no money to out into the project, etc.

All we're doing now is making a more concerted effort to doing stuff like streams. TC is seeing steady success. He's not exploding with fame or anything, but he's kept to a schedule and is having fun with the content he's making. We can also do that. The barrier of entry, as it were, for us to do "more" is nowhere as vast as it was last time and we all pretty much already do Tabletop stuff that we can stream ourselves doing, on top of podcasts and what not like we've done in the past. Does that mean we'll attract people? Not at all. It just means these are things we're able to do and if some of us wanted to group up and make that content, great!

That's my thoughts at least.

As to "why should we try again?" I mean, well, 's not something I'd be trying super hard for. It'd be a nice bonus to already doing over-the-top ridiculous shit like we do sometimes, that's all. (But only if they don't suck really bad, though it'd have to be really bad for them to not be at least generally tolerated here.)
