Sorry, the basketball in the spawn room. Doomfist's uppercut ability can knock the basketball into the basket really easily.
Just finished my placement matches and landed in Platinum! 2614 points!
I already miss old Mercy.
Mercy is my most played hero by a long shot. Same.
Deathmatch is pretty fun. Reminds me of old-time CS.
Haven't really played OW since I got ranked in Lucioball, bar maybe 2 or 3 quick play matches. Been playing other stuff, like Witcher 3 DLC, PUBG, and Guild Wars 2. Once Mercy's overhaul goes live, I'll probably start playing again. That, or Halloween event skin grinding.
What do you guys make of new D.Va and new Mercy? And the new map (I haven't gotten queued on it yet)?
New map is fun, but I'm not a fan of the D.Va changes. The rockets are incredibly weak. Maybe I'm just using them wrong but it seems like accurate primary fire does better than rockets do. They can poke at medium range but the poke is so small.
Hate the Mercy changes in action. Pharmercies abound and are such a bigger pain in the ass. I'm honestly avoiding quckplay until they do something about it.

What? Mercy has gotten way better in my opinion.
As someone who mains Mercy, it's fantastic to be able to resurrect every 30 seconds or every 10 with ult proc'd. I used to save her ult for the huge team wipe, but now I can just resurrect key players and keep it going.
On top of that, her ultimate allows her damage boost and healing to chain onto other people. I've been playing Junkertown and I adore being able to resurrect, pop ult, resurrect again, take off into the sky and keep my team alive through a chokepoint.
Halloween Terror event is live. That Zenyatta Cthulhu skin is so fucking baller. Deathwing Symetra is pretty cool too.
New Zen skin modifies a lot of his voice lines. More skins need to do that, dammit.
Got to 2900 but was playing with a friend who hovered around 2500. I'd lose 1.5-2 times more SR than I'd gain from wins, but on the other hand, it can be argued that playing with friends is better than solo-queuing.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Regardless, I didn't play a ton of games after placement and missed my opportunity to reach diamond when Mercy was overpowered.
