Father, so long as they declare a weapon I own I volunteer to be your champion. Grant me this honor.

My hope is that my opponent will choose a game that is streamable on my end, and one that we both own. That way the duel may be witnessed in real-time before the gods and kings.

I am deliberating on the current trial by combat. It's possible for me to play niddhogg. I do enjoy the idea of High Justicar @Tirin crushing TC's champion in EUIV. I am confident in his capability in that game.

Also I would like to address TC has just bamboozled a new streamer who spent all his danger on the bamboozle command that he earned in that stream.

Further deliberation:

I would consider selecting a multitude of champions for these two specific games: Guns of Icarus & Heroes of the Storm.

Hey. Hey, Riyant.

Choose EU4. And choose me as your champion.
Dawg wtf that's just cruel. I'm all for allowing you to pick something the challenger sucks at, but by God, man, have some decency. Don't make it something that's going to take like fifty hours to resolve.

Fifty hours for the fifty minutes of streaming he stole from me. It's poetic, really.

Easy... a 1v1 between me and TC (or his chosen champion) in EU4 would not require 50 hours to resolve. It could doubtless be accomplished in the brutally short time of a mere few hours with you taking the role of a spectator.

It is only fair that the challenged gets his choice of method, after all, else the strong challenge the weak where they cannot hope to receive justice. And I would like to point out: Riyant owns EU4, as do I. Either TC could access it via Steamshare or his champion could, regardless of who the players will be. In the spirit of fairness, however, I would allow the defendant first choice of nations. This is the one mercy that I could grant.

Traditionally, a European-style duel or trial by combat wouldn't have such a requirement. Eurocentric or not, the precedent's well-established towards that kind of standard, so... I'm going to rule that no, it doesn't have to be something you both own, or that's free to play. However, if the Prosecutor would demand a choice of weaponry that the Accused or Champion does not have ready access to, then the Prosecution is responsible for arranging his/her access for the duration of the Trial. (The Prosecution may not demand any form of payment, compensation, consideration, or other form of reimbursement for this service.)

I have chosen Machiavell, a dreaded mercenary from beyond our borders, as my Champion.

My Champion has not expressed much interest in posting here, but will try to keep an eye on the thread. Otherwise, I am to inform them of all updates and relevant information through Steam.

Should the Honorable Justice wish to examine my Champion, I imagine that would best be done through Steam as well.

That (Champion) is acceptable.
