This is a big one...
Changelog:
Changelog:
- Issued and installed a SSL certificate for mail.machentertainment.com
- Mail sent by employees can now be encrypted for security and privacy reasons.
- Prevents NSA from getting my nudes.
- Mail sent by the forum will now support encryption if recipient mail server supports it.
- This allows emails to be fully private
- This allows password reset messages to be actually secure.
- Mail sent from forum will now be sent from "[email protected] instead of "[email protected]"
- Now it looks like the forum emails users and not me personally.
- Users should now know not to reply to the email... hopefully (TC I'm looking at you.)
- Disabled SSL 3.0 to patch the "POODLE" bug.
- Installed SSL certificate for machentertainment.com
- Users may optionally elect to use SSL by visiting https://machentertainment.com/ (THIS IS EXPERIMENTAL)
- NOTE: Browsers do not seem to remember passwords between the different protocols.
- HTTPS does not support Google login yet.
- I would assume that all cross logins are not supported at the moment.
- Will fix if we transfer to HTTPS
- Re-enabled Image proxy to allow the whole site to be encrypted rather than a mix of encrypted and unencrypted elements.
- Logging into the HTTPS site will encrypt passwords before transmission.
- If any user trying HTTPS encounters any issues, make sure to report it within this changelog.
- Users may optionally elect to use SSL by visiting https://machentertainment.com/ (THIS IS EXPERIMENTAL)
