The America joke was a pretty clear transition if you read those opening posts. People were drinking, I made a few jokes about the medical supplies being gone, later followed by another "lol medical treatment was bad back then" joke. I don't know why that screamed "America" to you, but you then suggested I'm America, so I made a joke about the typical reasons America goes to war. Read the first four pages, the context is all there.
Aside from a tasteless sense of humor, I don't see what you're reading into.

The two players that I'm pretty confident are town, Chicken and Easy, both seem to think Jeroth's a good lynch. It's true that I'm being hasty here, but like I said earlier, there's probably not any new information we could get here. A couple of people were talking about some amazing top secret shit they learned last night, but they haven't revealed anything.

See, I had considered other possible interpretations of "acting like [potential LyLo is] no big deal," like "throwing out hasty lynches" and "not trying to explore extra leads," but those, applied to me this phase, were even dumber.
Uh-huh. Only, Dunsparce's lynch has gone nowhere. Why's that? I've been throwing off all kinds of "I'd be happy to hammer Riyant today" vibes all day, so if we're at LyLo and Riyant's a Townie, then why hasn't scum just hammered on him already? And if Dunsparce is scum, then why go after Riyant? Chickenspleen's a pretty phat target, and has shown none of the lynch-resistance that Riyant has.
There's also a pretty big, huge, significant, and above all, obvious difference between refraining from doing something, and simply not doing it. E.g., you probably refrain from looking up trap porn during work hours, while I just never do it.

And, hey, we actually know what three of those roles are: Russia, Japan, and the United States. That gives us one more, likely Italy or something else that started as a neutral nation. Mayber Switzerland? I dunno.
So with this in mind, let's look at what everyone has said about their roles.
Tirin - Tirin describes his role as "vanilla townie with a twist". This is a claim that he continues to make even after Belgium has been destroyed and the neutral powers have joined the Entente. This might imply that he started out already in the Entente with pretty much no powers(so maybe Russia or Japan) or that he's Switzerland or something and will remain neutral and useless. I'm interested to know what the 'twist' might be.
Easy - I'm pretty sure Easy is claiming Russia. Supposedly he's really hard to kill and not much else, which definitely fits Russia. His complaining about not having a big role would probably fit with him being one of the three main Allied Powers and having a role that does nothing.
TC - Made a few joking posts early on with an American persona. I wouldn't take that too seriously as a claim. Currently, he claims to have info that he still hasn't shared yet, which might imply he's some kind of information gathering role. I have a passive ability that was permanently nullified by events before I joined, so I'm effectively a vanilla townie. As for the specific Hetalia character nation I am, I'm honestly not even sure my nation was even in WW1, but it's a nation very close to the GM's heart.
I've already made my play today, and it seems pretty clear where the lines are drawn. All we need at this point is for either @Colonel Thunder or @Firedemon to lynch Jeroth so we can hammer him.
