I disagree, but that comes down to writing reasons as opposed to actual in story reasons. By this point, with so many superpowers basically being on the stark family's side, it seems silly for Arya to get taken in like that. We're quickly cleaning things up here, I don't see Littlefinger winning.

Also, another side note, how is it that Jon went to the wall without ever stopping in Winterfell, especially when he knows Arya is alive now? The journey alone would have necessitated stopping somewhere, Winterfell would have been the best place.

Maybe he avoided it so that he could focus on getting his task completed, but still... Seems strange for them to save the reunion scene for after he comes back from the wall.

Nah. What's the point of having Littlefinger stick around there for 5+ full episodes, and never actually end up doing any Littlefingering? We've known that he was up to something for quite a while, now. (Hell, even the shot of him watching Arya fight Brienne should've been plenty of warning, if his mere presence hadn't already been enough of a hint for several months by that point.) Surprise, surprise - he found a massive opening he could use in the form of the easily-read, easily-duped and inexperienced younger sister, (who's already pretty obviously unhappy with Sansa, as someone like him should be able to tell), and just went to town on exploiting her weaknesses. (Conveniently, they lined up perfectly with all of his strengths.)

Now, he may not win or anything - although it really, really shouldn't be surprising if he makes yet another series of major tragedies unfold - but at least he'll doing something. Because from a writing perspective and a story perspective alike, it damn well wouldn't make any sense for him not to be.

Easy answer on this one. It's Eastwatch-By-The-Sea. Winterfall is far out of the way, since they're sailing from Dragonstone. It's the difference between a couple of days and a couple of weeks of travel, and time is of the essence on this mission of theirs.

(Actually, even when Stannis was traveling from Dragonstone to Castle Black (the closest castle on the Wall to Winterfell), it was still quickest for him to sail all the way to Eastwatch before docking anywhere. Just for perspective.)

Predicting it now: In before The Hound is Wight-ified. In before Wight Hound and Zombie Clegane fight.

In all honesty, I see the Brotherhood without Banner Bros dying, the Hound carrying on their legacy. I doubt they will kill off Gendry. I could see Jorah dying.

Overall, I'm really hype for Eastwatch.

LF doesn't have to see Arya stalking him to make this plot work. He just has to know she's doing it. Which is not entirely unpredictable, especially because this is Littlefinger and this is what he does.

And also, The Hound is about to go fight wights and learn that fire kills the undead. Then he's gonna go back and face off against his undead brother AND BURN HIS FACE OFF AS RIGHTEOUS RETRIBUTION. CLEGANEBOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWL

I would love for everyone to just meet back up at Winterfell and have a team meeting. "Alright, dish. Who the fuck has superpowers now and who doesn't? I was brought back to life and now I'm king and I'm gonna go steal a zombie. Our lives aren't normal, who's got that good shit going on?"

The next episode leaked. I watched it. I'm not gonna spoil anything.

The one thing I will say is just... God damn, man. You can take that whatever way you like.

Is it... good quality vid? Cause if it's not bad quality, I might just go ahead and watch it myself. Won't have to worry about spoilers afterward, amirite?

I found a good quality one, yeah. Apparently people found 1080 quality, so that's saying something.

You can find it at your local neighborhood pirate bay, but I just watched a stream. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

I asked because Episode 4 was, as I'd heard, available in advance only in a poor-quality, watermarked version due to leakage. As such, I was advised to hold off on watching it until the real deal came out - advice I didn't regret following, when I saw that dragonfire in action for the first time.

So... yeah, here I go.

EDIT: So yeah, this is only nominally, and not legitimately, 1080p. Still, though - not bad.

I didn't find a 1080p one myself, but I'm just on my phone, so I'm not dying to see it look perfect, so eh. I found an easy stream that worked for me.

Also, that ending. Holy fuck. I can't wait until Sunday for us to all talk about it.

Thanks Req for not spoiling, I had reservations even coming in here but I trusted ya'll and figured it was safe.

I seriously hate these leaks since I now watch Game of Thrones with my old man and it's become our Sunday event in the meantime until Football is back.

As I'd hoped, Cleganebowl is well on track; the Hound was obviously gonna survive this episode and the wight provided an easy reason for him to travel to King's Landing. I was pretty confident that there were gonna be more deaths on the suicide mission, but a turned dragon is obviously worth way more than any one of those men; called Thoros specifically, though, and a dragon death seemed pretty likely and really drives home that the White Walkers (or, at least, the Night King) have serious strength as lone combatants. The near-completely ignoring travel time for the raven and subsequent dragons was pretty fucking egregious. And, unsurprisingly, I'm frustrated by Daenerys' refusal to take advice decently and tendency to call out and threaten her advisors for perfectly legitimate criticism.

I'm willing to forgive the raven travel time since they made it seem like at least a day or two passed in the frozen lake before the fighting started.

Also, Uncle Benjen! The mad man finally goes down.

Jon also loves his staredowns with certain death. Vyserion died and Jon went full terminator. It was excellent. He also should have drowned but whatever.

Next week is gonna be so good!
