I've gone and created a cheap, shitty Discord server for us that'll serve until such a time as we all die of old age or the world ends. It's pretty barebones right now, but you guys are welcome to join and make suggestions on features you'd wanna see. Link is below.

Sorry to take a shit on your parade here (no sugar coating here) but I went and made a Discord just to test it out, that's over here: https://discord.gg/3qbFgp2 and I'll be honest, I'm not sure I'll even continue to pay attention to it. It was made just for me to see how far Discord has come along and to potentially try to convert our Teamspeak users over to.

There have been a lot of times that I've told other people that we own a Teamspeak and they immediately ask, "Oh why don't you have a Discord?" So, had to check it out again and that's the link for it.

Join it if you want or stay on the other Discord, up to you guys.

Weird that I didn't see this earlier, but I'm glad I did now.

I'll keep "mine" up for now if you don't mind, at least until you decide whether or not you'd like to stick with it. If you'd prefer not to, I'd be more than happy to manage either server as the main - largely 'cause it really doesn't take too much work on my end, and the net result is getting to have a good time in a group chat.

Okay, I'll let you know if I decide to drop it or not, frankly I'm probably just going to stick with it even if I don't put a lot into it. It doesn't take a whole lot of effort like you mentioned and it leaves the forumers with a way to contact me should something happen to the server.
