[CLOSED] Issues Using the Forum on my Phone

So ads on the phone are hyper aggressive lately and they trigger even when I don't physically have them showing on my screen (as in I have my keyboard out and can really only see the text box I'm writing in, not a single ad even though it's still "present" in any given web page). Is there a way to fix that or filter where we get our ads from so I can still reliably use my phone to browse the forum?

Also, my phone's keyboard interacts with the website weirdly. I've been using the same phone keyboard for years (SwiftKey) and it's only been in the last 6 months or so that the keyboard had started acting up and it's only when interacting with my Mach web page, not anything else. I doubt that's something you could fix on your end, but it pertains to phone stuff, so I figured I'd add it as well.

Alright, so let me ask you a few questions. So by "trigger" are you saying to adverts are acting like you have tapped or clicked on them? Which advertisements are you having issues with? Also is it any specific ad that is acting like you have tapped on it or does this happen with all ads in general? What kind of phone are you using and what browser do you pair it with?

On the side issue, by "my Mach web page" do you mean your profile or the entire site? Previously I had noticed that typing performance on phones was pretty poor but it seems that now it works well.

EDIT: While checking our current ad system, I've just used the opportunity to try a new ad implementation. See if that helps any.

I use a galaxy s6, by my web page, I just mean a literal I web page tab in my Chrome browser app.

And by trigger, I mean ads just force themselves to load even though I haven't touched them or interacted with them.

I've noticed some annoying behavior like that on other sights, it usually happens when I tap an area that is going to have an ad but hasn't loaded yet and I tapped on a link or something that end up getting pushed downwards to make room for the ad.

Tangent aside, are we talking about the ads laid in the page or ads that appear on the top or bottom of the screen or some full overlay stuff?

Man that is ugly. I haven't seen the ads yet personally but based off those two images the older implementation was better.

I can't answer because I'm not clicking on anything. It's just something that's started within the last few days. It usually happens when I'm just typing on my phone keyboard. It's one of those aggressive, spammy ads that just forces you to load into a different page (the same tab, but a new site/URL/what have you), like when you go to a porn site that isn't Pornhub. You never click the ads, but it loads something up regardless. It's not a pop up.

Ah okay, that sounds like one of the malicious redirect ads, they pop up every now and then. It's really hard to find them, I have the ability to block them but I need the advert's URL and that's rarely the URL they redirect you to. If you can find it's URL I'll gladly block it for you if you can't then those kind of ads usually get flushed out of circulation after a week or so.
