Thought some of you might want to see this. It's a rough map of the world. You're not going to see many other countries, just the important ones. If you want to create anything lore wise or take a chunk of land and develop it for fun, let me know and we can make that happen. I have a general idea of what everything is and does, but it never hurts to have more hands working on something to make it more fleshed out and interesting, should we want to.
So, what I did put on there is the four major cities/countries we'll need to know about or remember for the game. No, the cities aren't necessarily to scale, but the ones that do look massive are meant to be so.
P = Poria
MR = Mistlord Republic, referred to as such because it only just got annexed
C = Clord, city and country
Z = Zekeshaven
Poria is the seat of all power in the Riordan Empire and is pretty much as big as it looks on that map. The orange continent is connected to the red one containing Poria. They're one land mass, broken up the same way North America and Russia are on a map, just more directly connected. You can consider them to be two separate halves of one continent, but with a massive ocean between them and one massive land bridge to the north keeping them connected.
Zekeshaven is a city of power and wealth, pretty much the home of anyone and everyone with money or influence.
Clord is the force behind the Riordan Empire's economy, maintaining it and controlling it. Most of the goods it exported before being taken over were sold at the highest of prices. After being taken over, Clord kept some measure of autonomy, but it also became one of the main providers of weapons and equipment for the empire with factories cropping up across the country over the course of weeks.
The Mistlord Republic is in a unique position of having some ability to stand up to the Riordan Empire. The country has a higher concentration of powerfully gifted magic users, far beyond the capabilities of any other country. Only through the sheer force of all other nations combined were the Mistlord leaders brought to heel and even then, only through trickery and deceit as needed to end the bloodshed. Though the country held out for decades, many Mistlord citizens are glad to see the war finally end.
I also made a 3D globe of the map. It wasn't hard, but I don't know how to put it in a post as there's no like... share... thing. I have a code for it though. I might ask @RECONmaster for some help with it in the future once we've fleshed the map out more.
EDIT: Oh and the little light brown lines are defunct land bridges that went under water thousands of years ago.
