Yo, did not forget about Dalaran. I've just been disappeared for a while due to being busy as fuck. New job + nearing load-in + hosting multiple upcoming consecutive house parties + a recent family visit has been killing me. Also this:
I'll be back eventually.

I may or may not have broken that Star Wars machine.

Also Tag Ross, you leave my family alone. If anyone here really wanted to, I bet they could track me down within an afternoon's work and harass me, but I'm trusting you guys not to do that.

Actually, Rondait could use some more friends. Maybe I'll set up a playdate or something.

Did anyone get No Man's Sky? Thoughts on it?
I didn't get caught up in the hype but I was curious, disappointed about the negative launch. However, I've heard it still fills the niche it probably should have only set out to do before Sony's marketing took over, and after a long day at Uni I wouldn't mind just chilling discovering the galaxy. Only issue now is the millions of PC issues.

I've grabbed No Man's Sky. It's pretty decent for a game of the genre, though it was massively overhyped with a fair number of launch issues which is where all the negativity is coming from. The game gets pretty repetitive though, but most of the planets do feel fairly unique with a fair number of randomly generated fauna and flora. Interactions with other sentient NPCs though feels really lackluster, and there's a very limited amount of things you can do with them. Also, the language system is pretty annoying to some, but I find it really cool, with you having to go out of your way to learn words in an alien language to understand them, and even then you'll have to stitch their meaning together unless you learn their entire language.

I'd recommend it if you're free roam exploring, and if you don't mind repetitive things, since you basically do the same thing on every planet. I'm enjoying my first few hours into it, but I don't know if I'll ever really complete it, or play it again if I do, even with multiple endings which the game seems to have.

I work my final graveyard shift tonight.

I am so so so ready to be done with graveyard, and teaching too (at least for now, with the teaching). This coming Friday will be my first day off in exactly four weeks, and I'm very much looking forward to it.
I didn't know you worked at a graveyard.
I hope you didn't get too buried in work.

...

I'm going to go and think about what I've done.

Hey all, just visiting for a bit. I wanna say that I do miss the place, but being intentionally away, not just at camp, was nice, honestly. To put it simply, I kept trying to make this place something it wasn't. Getting that idea out of my head was necessary. I still appreciate all of you as individuals, it's just as a whole community it wasn't what I needed.

I may rejoin the community again in the future, but I still wanna let myself be "gone" from the community a little longer. You guys just keep being awesome and keep up the cool, fun stuff you've been doing. I'll come back around eventually.
