On a less awful aside I wonder what the hierarchy of ass kicking would be on this site, I know Easy and myself are quite strong and there seems to several members of the military that have been a part of our little group. So who would come out on top? All I know is TC would be the bottom, which is his natural state.

I'm surprisingly handy in a fight. Not saying I'd win or anything, but I also don't scare during a fight like some people do.

I try to avoid fighting if I can, but if I have to do it, I can.

Eh, it's a stretch to say that I've been in a fight. Like I said, I avoid them if I can. The closest I've come is when I was wrestling with a coworker at summer camp two years ago and I nearly dislocated his shoulder. I wasn't aware I was doing anything to him really, but I didn't give an inch and they had to break us up before I hurt him, so that's something.

Not a real fight though, so eh. Not the strongest evidence. Still, I'd place myself somewhere in the middle of our IRL tier list.

Closest I've ever come was my buddies and I used to get drunk and box, I was pretty terrible at it though I was also super skinny and weak at the time and my buddies were all much stronger than I was.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I'm currently stronger than any of they were. Weird I always kind of looked up to them for that kind of shit, I was also like 18-19 at the time so that probably had something to do with that.

If you consider a nazee to be someone who does not actively seek the annihilation of the white race, then yeah, which apparently most leftists do now.
With what's going on right now you couldn't have had more poor fuckin taste mate.

I'll deck all of youse even though my gym routine doesn't exist and I've never been in a fight and idk i'd probs lay down and tickle TC at the bottom of this pile while we wait this shit out.

if you guys are keen to hate your mates then you all need to buy Golf With Friends asap, best/worst game.
There's a basketball mode which is the most infuriating bullshit on this planet.

Trufax I've actually never been in a fight.

What the fuck is the point of working out if you don't learn how to fight? Do ya just wanna make moving shit easier? A year or two ago, I took a class in Hapkido. I never even got to the second belt tier, but the fact that you guys don't even bother training to fight means I might be tougher in combat than I thought.

Have you been to a gym? I don't mean this in a rude way. Working out is a very nice achievement to have accomplished when you're going through your daily checklist. Helps with depression and what not. Not to mention making daily tasks easier, be it moving furniture around, helping a mate lift something or just being fit, walking around a big campus or city often can make you realise how damn unfit you are. (Not that I do cardio at the gym haha).

Lot's of benefits towards improving your physical health, mentally and physically. You should try it before you knock it mate. If you're really obsessed over the fighting thing, looking strong is a far greater deterrence to violence than claiming you know karate. If you're showing those skills off you're already in a situation you shouldn't be in.

I'm a big, strong man who apparently has more experience in fighting than the previous four of you to mention it put together, likes to box, and regularly practices on a heavy bag. My hands are fast, my punches are hard, I don't go down easy (in fact, have never), and my aggressive and tenacious temperament is well-documented. The only person on this forum who I would be hesitant to fight is Easy, and him only because I know he has much more training and experience than I do, and in more than one martial art. Most of the military boys in here are scrawny Americans, and I suspect many are not being trained for combat roles.

"I took a few classes in an Asian martial art" is, as Andy mentioned, much less likely to deter someone from trying to beat your ass than looking jacked, and for that matter may well be less useful in the fight proper. On top of that, working out has the benefits of improving your physical and mental health drastically, making you look fine, and increasing your confidence. How much practical value have you gotten from the Hapkido classes that you probably haven't practiced in since stopping them?

None whatsoever, but if I ever need to somersault in a cool looking way, I'll be able to. I can also bend someone's fingers backwards in a way that hurts a little. Bet you don't want to fuck with me now, huh?

Kek, that's the amount of training that just makes you worse. You'll try to do something, but won't actually know how to do it right and just get clocked in the face.

The extra reach it affords you isn't enough to make up for you being a three-foot-tall leprechaun, Rondait.

I still stand by my middle of the group statement. Personally, if you've gotten to the point where a fight is necessary, you've already lost, in my eyes, like FD said. It's good to be able to defend yourself though.

I've got a decent amount of tolerance to pain. That's something I didn't mention before. Plus my legs are my best asset, so I doubt I'd lose my footing easily. Again though, not much training at all to speak of and little experience with actual fights either.

To be fair though, with the current political climate, I think I'm gonna be alright considering I don't try to insinuate that I'm a Nazi for the sake of making TC look weak, lmao.

Generally - kinda depends where you train, though. Most places, they'll be teaching you to be able to pull off some cool-looking moves in demonstrations within your first year or two; things you'll only get hurt by trying to adapt to the unfamiliar, ever-changing situation that is an actual fight.

Some places - the legit, but also much more boring ones - they'll still not have taught you do do anything particularly cool within your first couple of years. They will, however, have taught you to do very mundane, ordinary things very quickly and effectively in a melee, as a matter of instinct and reflex, thanks to hour upon hour upon hour of boring, tedious muscle-memory-building repetition. Which will actually place you head and shoulders above any typical average dude you're gonna fight, in terms of performance, although you're gonna have a pretty hard time finding a practical way to show it off.
