And if I'm suspicious for policy lynching, EVERYONE on that list of lynch votes is suspicious because they're all policy lynching, whether they use that term or not.

You got me there; it is DEFINITELY my policy to lynch Lotus on Day One. I generally don't feel like enough is learned through the discussions like the one we're having right now to make a very well informed lynch, and if you're going to go to an unjustified lynch, you may as well lynch someone you enjoy lynching. Of course, I never claimed anything was wrong with policy lynches either. if they were bad, why would they be a policy players want to retain?

On the other hand, Youma felt like he was trying very hard to change my mind regarding the first half of the above statement. Kind of still thinking Jester. I know for a fact that Salsy doesn't think so though, since he policy lynches Jesters and hates the role entirely. Yay! I remember stuff. So, if Salsy doesn't think Youma is a jester, and IS defending Youma...hm. What could that mean? Does Salsy know something I do not? But it's day one, so no night investigation has been done yet... So, either he's guessing, or they're scumbuddies...or masons or something? Ah, screw it. We'll know more when Youma flips. I talked me into breaking my day one policy. Good job, me. And Youma. Go us!

I'm not convinced that Salsy is a good day 2 lynch; I think whether or not he's a good day 2 lynch is contingent on information we'll get by lynching Youma, though he has been acting a lil' scummy. I want him lynched for being rude, but in-game that's a shit reason and not worth lynching over, even if this is supposed to be a party.

Some of the best parties ever are chock full of rude people. But yeah, if Youma pops scum, I'd take a real close look at Salsy next day phase.

I have a headache right now because CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. But I really think Youma so far is a Hanlon's Razor case (dumb not scum). Though I admit I default to that rather easily. I also admit to not reading the last page or two too in depth because headache.

We're nearly at the point where not lynching Youma means a no lynch, which is complete shit; worse, I won't be able to keep talking until the deadline, and it seems like not very many players are online right now to contribute. Even less of those can lynch Youma.

Pally, is a deadline extension possible since plenty of people seem unconvinced by lynching Youma, but basically everyone agrees that no lynching is retarded?

I do not support the youma lynch in the slightest and I think you guys are being donkeys by lynching him but unfortunately Tirin is right and it's probably either Youma or a no lynch. I hope I'm wrong here and Youma is scum but I doubt it.

That's almost all there is in mafia, particularly day 1. Due to WIFOM strategies, most decisions are viable. What matters is the way you go about them and the words you use to achieve them, and the words you used to defend yourself sucked, even if the logic was reasonable.

As to the reads thing, you're probably stuck with that since this is like my second, maybe third game of mafia ever and I'm still getting used to it.

But, since Salsy is now actually defending the suggestion rather than just Youma saying he wasn't serious, I have no choice but to unlynch and policy lynch Salsy for the sake of consistency.

Are you fucking serious right now? You post this with less than 24 hours left in the phase and no one to support you without first lynching Youma? The only options at this point in anyone's mind should be to lynch Youma or Rondait, since they're the only ones with votes on them. Bringing a third candidate into the race is only going to split votes further and encourage a no lynch. Additionally, policy lynches should only be used to start conversation at the beginning of D1. We've had enough conversation to be able to make informed decisions going forward. Policy lynches are no longer beneficial for us.

I haven't been hanging out in the back waiting for people to tell me what to think. I still think Youma is the best lynch right now, followed by Shizno. He jumped on lynching me for what I see as a non reason. You can say that I'm just sheeping all you want Salsy, but frankly that isn't the case.

Anyways, owing to the fact that I'm not very drunk right now, and that the last page or two should give us some decent leads for the next day (And also that we're nearing the end of this day phase), I'm going to Lynch Youma. We've got about 3 hours left boys and girls, so either start voting, or come up with a good reason for Pally to extend the day phase.

A cry of surprise draws your attention from the conversation you were having and to the dancefloor. A crowd of partygoers are shouting and milling around something, and you see servants scurrying off into the mansion.

"She's been poisoned, I say! Poisoned!" shouts a gruff overweight man, his mask doing nothing to hide the large mustache poking around the sides of his mask. "Who brought her this drink?"

He shakes an empty wine glass at the crowd and the guests look around nervously. While this is occurring, you hear a shout from the hall entrance.

"What is the meaning of this!?" shouts the Count, barging into the room. He is no longer wearing his mask, and his handsome features compliment his fine tuxedo well. He pushes through the crowd until he sees his wife, dead on the floor.

"Oh, mia amata..." he sighs, as he leans down to scoop her body into his arms. Tears run down his face as he looks upon his deceased spouse's face. "Who did this to you?"

A clinking of chain causes you to turn around. Several guards, dressed in chain and tunic carrying submachine guns, enter the room and block the exists. A no-nonsense looking man with a bald head and black clothing addresses the crowd with a measured British accent.

"If you please, madams and sirs, the party is now over. We do however, at this time, exercise our right to detain on suspect of criminal activity. After we take statements from you you will be escorted to rooms we will provide for you. Thank you for your assistance on this matter."

Finished, he promptly exists the room, the guards parting to allow him to pass before reforming the wall. Several masks turn towards you suspiciously, and you pass through the crowd trying not to draw attention to yourself. No one seems eager to discard their masks.

Yeah, Polly, you just hammered. So complaining that I split the vote from Youma and strange Rondait vote no one cared about is silly. Wait...

Okay, the 5 votes for Youma on the last page was inaccurate unless shenanigans. So Youma is 1 from a lynch. In light of having literally 3 hours left, I will switch back to Youma.

But seriously, "splitting the vote"? Rondait wasn't even a viable 2nd candidate. Salsy and Shizno lynched him for bafflingly poor reasons that no one agrees with. Salsy is blatantly a better lynch for the reasons we're lynching Youma. Youma mentioned role claiming and we policy (trololololol) lynched him and now Salsy has ACTUALLY ADVOCATED IT. He's a better lynch and you guys should have all jumped ship.

Policy (trololol) lynching him is hardly anti-town, since he's advocating doing something that most of us agree to be harmful to the town. Policy (trolololol) lynches aren't to generate discussion, they're to curve discussion away from a topic because we've already determined the answer several times over and anyone suggesting otherwise is either anti-town or new.

Also, Salsy... POLICY POLICY POLICY. I'm gonna feel really dumb if I'm falsely remembering who said to stop using that word.

Angry shouting draws your attention to a scuffle occurring near one of the exits.

"We've got him sir, several of the guests saw him slip something in the drink and identified him. We have nine witnesses."

"Put him in the dungeon until later, proceed as before." comes a static ridden reply.

"Yes, sir." the guard responds.

"Dog gone it! You varmints better unhand me! Do you know who I am?" yells the Texan, as they drag him out of the room. One of the guards addresses the crowd. "You will know be escorted your rooms. Guards will begin escorting you individually to your rooms. Please be patient, thank you."
