Oh shit, I just took that in. Winter is gonna decimate the player base. Even those mega-committed to Pokemon GO are going to be frustrated, since the temperature is going to kill their battery faster than usual.

Supposedly that's coming with the patch on the 12th that will introduce gen II.

Key word: Supposedly. No signs of trading and stuff.

Based on their announcement today there's more coming, but some gen II baby Pokemon are now available from eggs. Which is a kinda cool way to roll out new Pokemon, but apparently most people understandably feel this is a very measly offering. Oh and there's limited edition Pikachus with santa hats to be found.
