Team Dash - 6 (Easy, Req, Tirin, TC, Lotus, Walrus)
Roleplayers - 1 (Coolpool)

After a few hours on foot, the forumers finally managed to reach Rotten Elms. Living up to its name, Elm trees populated the small and abandoned village. The groups coalesced into one large group as they were in awe that Thunderclaw managed to successfully find this village and the actual existence of the village.

"Whoa.. This place is eerie. It looks like it was off-the-grid town." Null mumbled as he looked over the old farm fields that were in disarray."

"Yeah, but the place seems pretty modern. Also, eerily familiar." Req managed to pipe up.

"Anyway, let's go exploring the town then meet back up in the large meeting hall in the center in about an hour or so. Sound good, gang?!" Thunderclaw cheerfully called out.

“Yeah, we’ll sure do that.” Ro said sarcastically as Team Dash laughed and began to walk into the woods away from everyone.

“Man, Shadow, you really EMBARRASED the hell out of Tolvan on the bus!” exclaimed Pally, barely able to suppress his laughter from the memory of that.

“Yeah, but who knows? Maybe he’ll actually learn a thing or too instead of swinging that weeaboo steel around.” Shadow lightly chuckled. “I have to admit, it’s pretty nice to get paid to just relentlessly mock the forumers until we became Goldfish Poop Gang, which by the way, Ro? Do you know what that is?”

“Yeah, it’s a trope where we apparently keep losing and become way more likable - like dopey villains.”

“Yeah, that’s never happening.” Vance chimed in before looking back down at the map.

“So where’s that place TC wanted us to go, anyway?” Salsy broke the random chit chat, looking at Vance’s map that was given to them by TC.

“Apparently there’s some communications tower on some nearby mountain that the town used to broadcast. TC wanted us to go there and creep everyone out - so that should be fun.” Ro spoke plainly as he was fumbling with his phone. “Ugh. No signal. This trip is suddenly becoming worse by the minute.”

“Hm, we just need to continue down this forest road until it wraps around and goes further up.” Vance mumbled to himself as he looked at the map - red marker was everywhere with TC’s instructions on where to scare people and how.

“ORRRRRRR!!” Pally’s head craned over Vance’s, looking down at the map before jabbing his finger at the communication tower. “We could just try to climb up the mountain side. That would save us so much time and we don’t have to walk along this creepy ass dirt road with these bugs.”

Spooky Woodland Road
Vance

“That’s a dumb idea.” Vance looked at Pally.

Pally’s dumb smile was ephemeral before disappearing with a frown. “All right, then. Let’s go down the spooky woodland road instead of climbing the mountain like BAD-AYSSUS.”

“Yes. Let’s go down the road since we won’t die. We all know that TC was just hyping up the rumors to make our job easier.” Vance rolled his eyes at Pally, looking at the map.

Shadow rolled his eyes. “Whatever, let’s just go down the road and get this over with.” His finger tapping against the elongated barrel, rattling the metal as it echoed throughout the woods.

Salsy burrowed his hands into his pockets as he started down the beaten, dirt path. “Let’s just get going, all right? It’s starting to get chilly.”

Pally huffed as he kicked at a stone on the path. “Whatever, the mountain would have been so much cooler.”

Vance shook his head, looking down at the map. TC’s notes were scribbled on the paper with cliff notes and crumbs from kids cliff bars. Sweeping them off with disgust, he noticed. Apparently there were traps ahead, but knowing TC they probably wouldn’t work if he had set them up already.

Clearing his throat, Vance spoke up. “So apparently, TC put up traps ahead, so we might want to be careful.”

Shadow rolled his eyes. “Dunderpaw doing something right? Suuure..” Chuckling slightly, he spun the revolver in his hands. “And ‘sides, I can shoot them off.”

Salsy spoke up: “Or we could just have Ro dance around them and save those bullets.”

“PSH! YEAH, RIGHT. SHADOW HAS LIKE A MILLION BULLETS!” Pally chimed in as Ro looked expectantly, excited at the prospect of dancing.

How does Vance decide to disarm potential traps?

- Dancing Ro
- Suggest Shadow shoots them
- Walk Around
- Custom

Dancing Ro - EVERYONE.

"All right, I guess, we're doing it... live."

His headphones lit up - LED's of blue and red as the sounds of freedom boomed into his ears. The national treasure of Will Smith mixed with Guile's Theme as he closed his eyes to enter: The RoZone.

Ro's body began to bounce to the sweet beats, moving forward slowly. Shadow and Salsy managed a smile, always enjoying Ro's sick dance moves. Vance felt his stomach twist slightly as a pang of nervousness while Ro danced. Something felt off about the entire area.

Schhwaff. Schhwa-Schhwaff.

Arrows flew through the air as Ro's body twisted around them; his arms cutting through the air as the invisible strings were tugged, releasing heavy logs that slammed into the trees. Leaves cascading around him, Ro's hands grabbed at them, catching a handful before turning back to Team Dash and shrugging. The climax of the song approached as he bent backwards - the comically large guillotine swinging down and slicing the leaves that he had tossed up. His headphones fell off of his head and the muffled song could be heard with Ro's eyes opening to the sharpened blade that rested inches away from the tip of his nose.

A standing ovation from Team Dash as they maneuvered around the triggered traps and hoisted Ro up.

"DUDE! THAT WAS AWESOME!" Pally's voice cut through the air as Ro panted. "I think.. that's it.. for a while." Ro nearly collapsed as the Team carefully placed him on Salsy's back. "All right. Let's hit up that communication tower, boys." Shadow grinned as he stormed ahead on the dirt path.

Vance carefully trailed behind, looking at the aftermath of the traps with curiosity. Did TC really set all these up? Why were they so deadly? And more importantly, why did they work?

"CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAWN.."

The strange sound of a wild animal echoed throughout the woods. The sounds of birds flapping away in unison following after it.

"What was th-"
"Who cares? It's not what we're here for. Let's go to the tower. Besides, we'll be safe there."

Team Dash wrapped around towards the Communication Tower, climbing up the stairs before ascending the ladder after ladder that brought them to control center.

The air in the center felt stale as they tried to look towards the campgrounds. The village was visible from the tower although it was surrounded by dense trees.

Salsy took out his phone, scoffing as the "No signal" popped up again.

"Seriously? No Signal even up here? I hate the wilderness."

Shadow looked over the different buttons before noticing one that was labeled: "Air Siren."

"I choose... this one."

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Team Dash instinctively covered their ears as the noise blared loudly throughout the speakers. Finding a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, they placed them on to find respite from the heavy noise.

Looking out towards the town, everyone waited to potentially see panic stirring in the campers. Of course, that was everyone except Vance. His eyes were drawn towards the path they used to reach the tower.

The tall trees shook before collapsing - Something headed towards the tower.

Vance's stomach twisted as he had to figure out what to do:

What does Vance do?

- Try to turn off the Siren
- Alert everyone of the Collapsing Trees

Tell everyone 'bout the collapsing trees. Better to leave the siren on so they can bail out unheard.
